About me

Hi, my name is Markus Albert. I am a landscape photographer from Frankfurt/Germany. I spend a great deal of my time traveling and photographing, mostly in Europe. At the same time I am a dedicated father, a freelance copywriter, and a trail runner. And, yes, handling all of this requires some refined time management.
The concept of photography has always been fascinating me. As a little boy I shot holiday pictures of everything that fascinated me, to the regret of my parents. From sparkling stones on Mallorca to clouds out of airplane windows. My enthusiasm is the same today. The images might have changed a bit.

I have a deep love for rugged and dramatic landscapes like those in Great Britain, Scotland, Iceland and in the Alpes. Furthermore, I'm very lucky to live near beautiful places like the Palatine Forest, the Black Forest and Bavaria.
In 2016 I decided to seriously learn how to shoot landscapes and edit my images. Now, it all fits together: my passion for traveling, hiking, and photography. In cases of a bad location planning even trail running can be a part of it.
